Your Vision

Let’s face it, there is heaps of stuff written about ‘Destiny‘.
And ‘Destiny’ means different things to different cultures, races, nations and individuals alike. Its use gets twisted around and is mixed with words like ‘fate’, ‘purpose’, ‘direction’, and so on, making it hard to nail down.

Some even suggest that your destiny is ‘pre-determined’ and cannot be altered. But, why would a waiter ask you for your choice from the menu if your destiny was pre-determined? Waiters could simply serve you whatever they liked and present you with a bill marked ‘Destiny – plus service’!
Your life choices are there to be made. Its your life. You can choose. 33thou robustly champions the capacity of individuals to make their own choices in life.

For the purposes of your using 33thou, your destiny is
your vision of your future”.
In other words:-
“it is the way that you want your future to unfold.”

Your vision of your destiny is a wholly personal affair. After all, its your life.
To be frank, even though they might want to interfere, nobody else’s opinion on your destiny really matters. Their views are distorted by their own personal experiences, jealousies, prejudices, and ambitions.

33thou is focused on helping you to manage your destiny.
And as you start to deliver it, others might begin to see just how fascinating you have become.

It’s a complex journey along the path of life, and there are pitfalls and uncertainties at every turn. In order to travel anywhere with confidence, its best to have a good idea of where it is you want to get to. In the same way, you need to build up a clear picture of your future if you are to make it become real.

This may seem a bit challenging, but it really is a fun and hugely enjoyable step in defining your destiny. You get to use your wildest imagination to draw up the future that you would just love to have. Its your life. Its your future. Its your imagination. There is nothing really to hold you back! You really can have lots of fun. Just go for it!

Your aim is to put together a future that you really can enjoy, with a sense of total satisfaction and achievement.

Just as any artist would do – let your imagination run wild and run riot. Take your time. Be as creative as you can be – and then some more!
Visualise your future using as many colours, lights, music, flavours, sounds, aromas as you want

Ask yourself all sorts of things, things such as:

  • – what would you like to know more about or understand better?
  • – what do you want to see, to hear, to touch, to taste, and to smell?
  • – what do you want to do, to achieve, to compose, to perform, to change?
  • – who do you want to meet?
  • – what do you want to become?, etc.

Begin each and every response with “I want to….” and record them all!
…And keep on going until you can’t think of any more.

There are no rules. There are no boundaries. Burst out of your safety bubble and fly!
Be brave! Be bold! Stretch your imagination and build your dreams! Reach for the stars!
Banish the demon of self doubt and abandon any concerns until some other time.
As the saying goes – “Where there’s a will to do something, there’s a way”.
“I Can – I Will – I Do – I’m Great!”
The future is yours to deliver! Using 33thou, your journey has already begun!

Think about those people you admire the most – and then ask yourself why it is that you like them. Just remember, they too have only had their own 33thou days to achieve what they have done. Imagine yourself doing what they do, and feeling how they might feel. You might want to use these people as a reference – a “role model”. Keep these thoughts as you Compose your future.

In practice, this means ‘right in front of your eyes’ in specific locations (rather than vague notions or ideals). The world has some fabulous offerings. Why shouldn’t you experience as many of them as you can?

Ask yourself the “What’s?” the “Why’s?”; the “Who’s?”; the “When’s?”; the Where’s?”, and the “How’s?” – these being the questions in your life that challenge or intrigue you the most.
Remember that you are about to invest some of your 33thou days in answering these, so make sure the questions you ask are clear and concise.
The clearer and more specific the challenges are that you ask, the easier it will be to find the answers.
Your curiosity should have no limits.

These can either be single, specific tasks, or achievements that are reached by completing a number of smaller combined tasks. “Doing” something yourself gives you the best opportunity to learn from it. Forget the cost, or the complexity, or the availability of opportunity. You can deal with all these later. If you want to achieve something, include it in your plans. Making your vision as complete and as clear as it can be will improve your chances of success.

Think of the people that you would like to meet. The more merrier!
Knowing who you would like to meet will mean there is less chance of you missing an opportunity to do just that if the chance ever arises.

Picture your future self as a success, standing on the top of your world!
Only you can do this. Again, be brave and be bold. Believe in yourself. Being a success at something doesn’t necessarily mean being ‘the best at it! Don’t let ‘the pursuit of perfection’ get in the way of doing enough to make you happy
– many excellent golfers never win an Open Tournament.

And always remember:
“I Can – I Will – I Do – I’m Great!”

Imagine clearly in your mind what your ‘being successful’ looks like:-

  • When will you know it has happened?
  • What are your rules for being ‘successful’?
  • How will it make you feel?
  • Try and describe each of these as specifically as possible.
  • Try to use terms that you can easily understand
    – such as ‘more confident’, ‘healthy’, ‘satisfied’. etc.
  • List each characteristic as clearly as you can.

For each feature of success that you describe, imagine that you are a key witness in a trial and you are explaining to the jury what you want so that they, too, can fully understand your vision. The clearer your vision is, the more realistic will be your chances of fulfilling it.

In addition, compare your image of your being a success against those features of the role model(s) you have already identified.
Think about their characteristics:- What do they like? – What do they do?
More importantly – what have they specifically achieved that attracts you to them?
You don’t have to copy them. Just remind yourself why it is that you are drawn to them.
These thoughts will help you to provide a robust framework for your own future direction.

Next, go back and review all that you have done so far to set out your Vision. Keep returning to it until you are happy that you have described the future that you want to make happen.

Then go back and add a bit more to it. When you have fully exhausted your imagination, you will be ready to move on to the next step. You can always add to, and amend your vision at any time in the future, especially as you begin to comprehend how you can to make it real!

This next step is vitally important. Its where you really begin to make 33thou work for you. Go through each element of the vision of your destiny which you have just composed.

Now, replace the words “I want to…” with the words “I believe that I will…”.

So, for example, if you have written “I want to visit Italy and see the Colosseum”,
change it to read “I believe that I will visit Italy and see the Colosseum”.
Next, read each of them out loud – and with great confidence and pride.
With 33thou, you are already beginning to make your future happen!
You can possibly feel the excitement (- and possibly, a little trepidation). – Great!

What you now possess is a glorious picture of your ideal future. It is a pure work of art designed and composed by you with love, passion, enthusiasm, and ambition.

All geat works of art should be hung in a position where you can enjoy them, and your picture of your fufture is no exception. Find somewhere prominent where you can display it so that you are always able to see it.

Place it somewhere where it will act as an inspiration to you, where it will help you to never let go of your desire and determination to create the exciting future you deserve!

Well done! You just have composed your initial vision of how your future – your destiny – can look. If your destiny looks a bit unimpressive, don’t be downhearted. By the time you’ve practised 33thou a few times, it will more than likely develop – and rapidly, as you gain confidence and experience. If your destiny appears to be insanely complex, so what?

Add things or change whatever you like, but do not strike anything out!

As you progress, your 33thou experience will help you sort out and improve your ideas. You most likely will discover that you can achieve a lot more than you currently think you are capable of.

What you must do next is put your 33thou days to work to make your vision real.
And 33thou will show you how you go about this.

If you look at your list of dreams it might seem like a random pile of “stuff”. – Great!
That’s an early lesson. Life is often random – and its always full of “stuff”.
33thou will enable you to create some order out the “stuff” so that your path to your destiny becomes much clearer!

A Great feature of 33thou is that it expects you always to celebrate your successes. You have just successfully completed the first major step of your journey to your destiny. You have set out your vision of just how you want your future to look.
Well done to you!
Now you can go off and celebrate – in any way you choose.
Have fun – you’ve earned it!

You now have your first 33thou success
in your pocket!
And its all because of your belief in
“I Can! – I Will! – I Do! – I’m Great!”
