Time

You have time. We all have time. The time is now…
4:17:55
….and now that time is gone – forever.

Time is fickle.
Sometimes, time is your best friend. Sometimes, time is your worst enemy. Sometimes, we ‘play for time’ to save our reputation. Sometimes, we ‘run out of time’ when we need it most.
But – worst of all – time is a cruel thief.
As time passes, it steals your youthfulness, your energy and your health. As time passes, opportunities fade away with it.

If someone stole anything like the value that time steals from you, you would be outraged! To get your valued possessions back you would demand justice at the highest level. But you cannot get back anything from time. It is a persistently greedy and insatiable predator that just cannot be stopped.

And yet, in life,
time is also your most precious asset.

With time you can explore, experience, better understand, explain – and even improve the world in which you live!! If you have the time, almost anything is possible!

There could never be a more powerful argument for you to master how you use your time – your 33thou days – before they simply vanish – forever!

You cannot control time. Nobody can.
You can only experience time.
Each of your 33thou days is one cycle of the Earth spinning on its axis on its eternal journey around our Sun. You cannot go back in time – because yesterday’s cycle has passed. It simply no longer exists. You cannot go forward in time – because tomorrow’s cycle hasn’t yet happened. It also doesn’t exist. Yet the regularity of this natural daily cycle is critical for the enduring survival of all life on earth.

Every new day allows humanity’s journey of survival, development, and maturation to continue.
Every new day offers us hope that we can find out and understand more about the wonder and meaning of life.

It goes without saying that, in order to simply survive, humankind must, as a minimum, eat, drink water, sleep regularly, and reproduce. However, in order to for us to “develop” and “mature”, what needs to happen is less straightforward.

As each day passes, both individually and collectively, actively and subconsciously, we continually explore and examine our environment. We also test it and learn from it in order to understand what it can do both for us and to us. With each cycle of ‘exploration’, ‘testing’ and ‘learning’, we seek to identify opportunities which might help us improve the way we live our lives. We also look out for threats that might harm us – so that we can protect ourselves and stay safe. Moreover, we have been behaving in this way since humans first appeared on earth.

Each and every day we all, including you, really do “live and learn“!

Although we still have much to learn about the Universe and all it holds, our efforts so far have taught us that opportunities for us all to make our lives more enjoyable really do exist – and can be found if we look for them. Even in such an uncertain world as ours, we can believe rather than merely hope that we will be able to exploit those opportunities, and influence just how our future might unfold. The challenge that we face is that, in order for us to do this properly, the necessary stages of “‘exploration’, ‘trial’, learning’, and ‘improvement’ can take up a lot of our time.

And 33thou emphasises that we each have only a limited amount of time to make all of this happen.

Since our time here on earth began, some fantastic opportunities have been identified, and some amazing discoveries have been made which have each, in some way, helped us to get to where we are today. Some (big) mistakes have also been made – but we have generally learned a lot from these, too. Our successes and failures have helped us to understand and appreciate the consequences of our actions. In doing so, they have also shown us how best we can use our time to improve and enrich our lives.

33thou does not offer a method that allows you to “control time”. Instead, 33thou helps you to take ownership of, and manage how you use up your time. Its purpose is to enable you to use each day in your life – your 33thou days – to deliver your dreams. Its focus is on helping you to concentrate on defining, and then delivering what you want to achieve. It encourages you to envisage and articulate what you would like to do with your 33thou days. It offers you a framework which helps to establish and carry out all that you must do make this happen. It applauds you as you celebrate every single one of your great achievements!

Just like everybody else, you are probably already doing heaps of “important stuff” that takes up all of your time. People have always been fascinated by the way we spend our time (just open any gossip website or magazine!). It’s more than likely you spend a fair amount of your time doing a whole host of routine things that keep you busy, such as:-

  • Fulfilling obligations required by law, or by school/work, or by family responsibilities, etc.
  • Enjoying more intimate time with your partner and close family.
  • Spending time socialising with a wider group of friends and acquaintances.
  • Enjoying things that you choose to do, such as recreation – reading, sport, hobbies etc.
  • Performing domestic maintenance – be it in your home, your car, shopping, laundry, etc.
  • Wellbeing activities – such as eating, sleeping, self/family health and care, etc.

Yet, even though you do all of these things, there are still gaps in the way that you use up your time. For example:

  • Deliberate gaps, such as when you rest after you finish one task and before you start the next.
  • The gaps that you didn’t plan, such as when your train or plane is delayed whilst you are travelling.
  • Those unconscious gaps, for example, when you you’ve flicked through the TV listings at least three times and discovered that there is nothing that you want to watch.
  • Those gaps engineered to distract you, such as being drawn into follow-on TV shows, looking at advertisements not aimed at you, clicking on irrelevant links in web pages, etc.
  • Scanning your cell-phone to find ‘nothing in particular’ wastes literally hours of your life!
  • There are gaps when you stare meaninglessly into space for a time. (We all do it!)
  • Gaps when you laze in bed for no real purpose are perhaps the ultimate time-waster.
  • There are gaps when you ‘nod-off’ and take a quiet snooze. etc., etc., etc…

Each one of these gaps prevent you from doing what you really want to do – they steal your time. You are managing to waste your valuable time simply by ‘just doing nothing‘!

Every unused gap in your life depletes your 33thou days stockpile without adding any meaningful value. Acting like a leaky tap, those gaps allow your 33thou days to just trickle down the drain and be lost forever! And while you waste your time, other people are using their 33thou days in active pursuit of their dreams. You are getting left behind.

Every moment that you waste destroys an opportunity for you to explore and achieve. Imagine how more thrilling your life could be if, instead of wasting it, you focused as much of your time as you possibly could upon transforming your wonderful dreams into your fabulous reality!

So ask yourself, “Why do you allow yourself to waste your precious time?”
Taking greater control of your time in order to deliver your dreams really is a “no-brainer”.

Just imagine if you had been given 33thou gold coins at birth, and that this was all the money that you would ever have in your whole life to pay your way in the world.

You wouldn’t just fritter the coins away – you would probably starve to death very quickly if you did. People would also think you were quite mad!!!

Of course, you might have some fun with them – who wouldn’t? But you would take great care to manage how you spent every single one of your coins. You would try to keep your coins safe so that none got lost or stolen from you. You might even try and find a way to make them increase in value.

You would try and use them to get the best life that you could manage. You would ensure that they were 100% “well spent”.

Your 33thou days are a gift to you that is much rarer than gold. Without them you simply cannot survive. They cannot be replaced. They certainly cannot increase in number. They are finite. They are precious beyond measure. They are unique to you – and they are all yours! Therefore:-

  • It makes perfect sense to look after and safeguard each and every one of your days.
  • It makes perfect sense to plan and manage how you use each of your days, so that none get wasted.
  • It makes perfect sense to get the best value you can from each day – before you lose it forever.
  • It makes perfect sense to ensure that others don’t steal any of your precious days from you.
  • It makes perfect sense to get as much fulfilment from each and every day as you possibly can.
  • It makes perfect sense to use each day to build the best and most exciting life that you can.
  • It makes excellent sense to use 33thou to help you to do all of this!

33thou doesn’t just help you to stop wasting your valuable days and get more from them. It also helps you to discover how, when, and where other people are helping themselves and stealing your time. Everybody has their own limited stock of 33thou days, but some people will try to increase theirs by taking some of yours.

There are, of course, people with a genuine right to use up some of your time, such as schools, employers, etc. Under these circumstances you have little choice but to relinquish control of that time. Others, though, try to get you to use your time to help them in achieving their goals ahead of your own. This may be fine if these people are important to you. It may even be mutually beneficial. But remember, your 33thou days are limited, and they are extremely valuable! You cannot afford to let just anybody take any of them away from you – whatever their justification might be. You must remain vigilant.
33thou helps you to manage and control how other people use up your time.

Like many people, you probably are making more and more use of information technology (IT) in your daily life. You might have a PC/laptop/tablet, or a cell phone, or a TV with a remote, or a gaming device, etc. Be aware! Whoever controls any technology that you use also controls both you and your time whilst you are using it!

Like it not, when you use IT you effectively become just one part in a big machine. You are in an eternal loop of entering text and other data (which you have to check is input correctly or it won’t work), and you then have to review all the output the technology throws back at you.

Somewhat scarily perhaps, you cannot start or finish an IT task until the technology lets you. How often are you made to wait like a zombie and watch that spinning circle as a data refresh or a system update buffers, and then reloads in order to catch up with what you want to do?

And, if you haven’t yet worked it out, AI (Artificial Intelligence) is now increasingly being used to control both your behaviour and your time. AI monitors your behaviour whilst you are using technology in order to draw you into spending more of your time engaging with organisations that want to take your money off you. If you wait for too long, not only will AI help people steal your time, it will begin to steal your career, your money, and anything else it can lay its digital claws on – if you sit back and let it.

When you must use IT, make sure that it is you who is always in control. With 33thou, you can determine when it’s time to put aside the technology so that you can get on with living your life.

As your 33thou plans materialise, you will most likely search for ways to somehow make more time… and you can’t just “top-up” your 33thou hourglass!
Where you are short of either time, knowledge, or skills, you might ask, or employ others to use their time and skills to do things for you. When all goes to plan, this practice works very well. The benefits are often huge.

But, be aware! Relying on others in this way comes at a cost. You cannot always rely on them to achieve your goals and deliver your destiny for you. They are, themselves, pursuing their own dreams – in which you probably don’t feature! In other words, they won’t really care as much as you about whether or not you actually achieve your ambitions.

When you do need help from others, it is probably because they know things that you don’t, or they are skilled at things that you cannot do. These skills and abilities have made such people valuable. And so, when you ask them to do something to help you, they will usually expect payment of some sort for your use of their time and their skills – and you have to pay them. However, the actual price that you pay for their help might be a lot more than just the cash price.

When you need to rely on others, do so with care. Manage their time as if it were your own. Prevent them from wasting your time by monitoring what they are doing for you. Make certain that that they fully understand what you actually want them to do for you. Review their work regularly to make sure that it is meeting your requirements.

And do all this before you pay them. If you don’t, your ‘helpers’ might easily waste both your money and your valuable time.

Unless you are very fortunate, you will probably have to earn some money to pay your way in the world. People will employ you to help them get richer as they pursue their personal goals and business targets. This means that you get paid by them for letting them take control of your time. In return, you receive money from them for your efforts – which will, of course, help you in reaching your dreams.

Employers will work you hard because they want to get the most out of you whilst they are paying you. They conduct ‘performance appraisals’ and the like to ensure that you stay focused on delivering their goals. And if you don’t deliver what they want then, brutally, they will more than likely replace you. They understand the value of time, and cannot afford to employ “time-wasters” or “slackers”.

Sure, they might show some interest when you tell them of your life goal achievements but, in reality, they don’t actually care. They are focused solely upon hitting their own targets. If you leave, they’ll probably just replace you. Commit yourself, obviously, to doing what they pay you for, but you don’t need to be a “dogsbody”. With 33thou in your life, you have other, equally important things to do with your time.

You need to strike a balance. It is important to measure carefully how you allocate your time between making a living and having enough personal time to pursue your own goals.

With 33thou, you can manage your 33thou days so that you can make the time to live your life.

At home, school or in work you are often set deadlines to complete given tasks. A task may be important – such as homework, filing a tax return, or filling a big customer order, etc. But some deadlines are set which have no clear focus, – for example, when you are asked to complete a task ‘in the next few days’, or ‘when you get time’.

Although instructions like these are intended to direct how you spend your time, they can often lead to you wasting your time. Do they mean that you should interrupt what you’re doing and complete the new task as a priority? Or, do they mean that the task referred to is not particularly important? Who knows?

Without any proper direction, if you give the task too high a priority it could delay other, more important work. If you delay doing it, but then find out that the work is critical, you might have to work late to finish it.
Vague deadlines have no prioritisation. They lack both clarity and focus. They are usually the product of weak leadership and poor management. They often result in confusion, anger, poor performance and, quite probably, even more work.

Their biggest failure is that they simply manage to waste your precious time!

Now, compare vague deadlines with those where a specific task is set which has both clear instructions and a proper timetable – so that everybody is clear on what the job entails. (This isn’t “spoon-feeding”. It is called effective leadership and good management!) You are better able to manage your time because you understand exactly both what you need to do and how long you should take to do it (rather than aiming for a vague end-date). You can then prioritise all your other tasks so that you can give each of them proper attention. And when you do complete each task on time and to the required standard, everybody is happy – especially you!

Being in charge of your time really does make you feel Great!

You can prevent others from wasting your time by insisting, before agreeing to do it, that any task is properly described. Never be afraid to answer “Yes, please!” to the question, “Do I need to spell it out to you?” More often than not, it will save you time!

The sequence of exploration, discovery, testing, and learning increases our overall level of understanding. The more you know and understand, the less opportunity there is to make errors and mistakes. Errors and mistakes ultimately waste your precious time.
With 33thou, you can build learning into your plans to help you to succeed.

Of course, because you are human, mistakes will be made (- although you can learn a lot from these). But it is nearly always less painful – and cheaper – to be smart before you start! If you understand what you have to do, not only can you do it well, you can do it a whole lot faster. Also, the more you know and understand, the less you will have to rely on others for help. Never pass off an opportunity to learn. It will help to save you time (and money!)

The right level of knowledge not only lets you reach your goals quicker, it also helps to keep you out of trouble. Simply put, if you take the time to read the label marked “Poison” it just might help you to stay alive!

This isn’t just about ‘book knowledge’. Being ‘street smart’ also has huge advantages. “Knowing about stuff” gives you an ‘edge’. All knowledge is valuable. It helps you to spot opportunities for a better life and empowers you to take full advantage of them. Life is littered with examples of how people with knowledge use it to their own advantage.

The more you know and understand, the less uncertain will be the path to your future.
You need to avoid being one of those people who’s last words are, “If only I’d known…!”

33thou develops your ability to find out the things that will satisfy your need to know.

Used wisely, increased knowledge and understanding provides opportunities to improve the world around you. It does this in many ways – finding cures for disease, creating smarter technology, avoiding danger, ensuring justice, improving the quality of food supplies, playing sport competently, etc., etc.

As we cannot expect to do all this for ourselves, we rely on other experts such as doctors, scientists, engineers, etc., and we use them to deliver these benefits for us. Because their skills are so special, these experts can often charge high fees for their time.

Managing your33thou days effectively enables you to use your time to acquire the knowledge that you lack. This both reduces your dependency on experts, saving you money, and also generates opportunities for you to help others – for which they might be ready to pay you! In this way, learning benefits your wealth – enabling you to deliver your dreams sooner!

33thou helps you to both develop your level of understanding and then put it to good use.

Spending time with others undoubtedly enriches your life in many ways. Social interaction offers huge opportunities to both share and learn from the love, views and experiences of others.

Managing your 33thou days effectively allows you to allocate time to celebrate being with the people you hold dear, as well as engage with more of the people you would like to meet.

33thou helps you to manage how much of your time you spend in the company of those people who are important in your life.

33thou helps you to make more rewarding use of the time that you currently waste.

Managing your 33thou days helps you to appreciate just how much time you have to deliver all of your goals. However, this awareness alone cannot deliver all of the things that you really want to do. To give each a fair chance, you also need a practical way to apportion your 33thou days in delivering each of your goals.

33thou provides a methodology which helps you to do just this.

With all the other things going on in your life, and so that that you don’t lose sight of your ultimate destiny, you need to develop an over-arching plan – a roadmap – to help you to stay firmly on track and to get you there.

33thou helps you to both crystallise your dreams and develop a robust roadmap to deliver them. Your 33thou roadmap acts as an enduring reminder to you of how you will reach your destiny. It helps you to organise, monitor, and review the actions you plan to take, and when to take them.

Its purpose is to guide you to where you want get to efficiently, safely, and on time. It allows you to pick up your plans where you left off, should you have to, without the need to restart from the very beginning. It helps you to assess your progress as you go along, and it stops you from wasting your precious time!

With 33thou,, you can understand how you will construct and apply your own 33thou roadmap.

Using 33thou to take control of your time will help you to maximise the amount of time you can spend on achieving all of your goals and delivering your destiny.

Instead of just wasting your time, with 33thou you can use it to experience a much more fulfilling existence. You can use your time to increase your knowledge, gain experience, build up your skills, put realistic plans in place, and then carry them out. Your preparation can help you deal more effectively with obstacles that might otherwise block the path to your destiny.

With experience, you can stay beyond the reach of those who want to steal your time. Your new skills can reduce your exposure to costly crooks and ‘time-wasters’.

Acquiring new abilities might even open up opportunities to improve your personal wealth. Knowledge is a valuable asset, and using it to increase your wealth can certainly help you to fulfil more of your dreams more easily. You can do all this and still make time for the people who are important to you.

And 33thou is here to help you make this happen!

Your 33thou days are limited.
You can either use them, or lose them.
It’s your life…
It’s your call.

You can start to make 33thou your own.
You can begin to take more control over your time

  • …So that you will stop wasting time…
  • …Which will let you do more with your time…
  • …In order for you to have the great life which you fully deserve!

With you in control of your time, almost anything is possible!

Ensuring that every one of your 33thou days is truly focused on making your dreams become real will really let you take even more control of your own destiny!
